Information for the body corporate roll
Use this form to update the body corporate about changes to a lot. For example, if the owner, representative or tenant details have changed.
Please be advised that, in accordance with Strata Management Group (SMG) company policy, all Form 8 notifications are required to be completed via this online form. This ensures that all required information is provided, accurate, and recorded correctly on the body corporate roll.
By providing an email address, you are requesting and consenting to receive body corporate correspondence and notices by email, rather than by post, where permitted under the Body Corporate and Community Management legislation. This email address will be recorded on the body corporate roll and used for ongoing communication unless you notify us in writing of a change.
This form can be filled out by:
- the owner of the lot
- an authorised agent – for example, a solicitor.
You are required to fill out Section 1 – Lot Information in addition to the relevant sections that are applicable to your request (sections 2-8 are titled to assist with your update).
IMPORTANT NOTICE
This information must be provided to the body corporate within 1 month of the change occurring.
The body corporate is required to update the roll within 14 days of receipt.
What you will need
To fill out the form you will need details about the body corporate and lot, including the:
- name of your community titles scheme (CTS)
- CTS number
- address of the CTS.
You might also need other documents, depending on what information you are updating. For example, a copy of the Title.
